Jennifer Baas, MA, LLPC
Jennifer is passionate about helping and walking alongside those struggling with effects of trauma, sexual abuse, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, life-transitions, cross-cultural challenges, and marital difficulties. She believes that all of us are created with a potential for incredible resilience and with the right kind of compassionate support, this power enables us to bounce back from the worst of circumstances.
Jennifer believes that her own journey of healing from trauma, abuse and loss is what has shaped her as a person and what motivates her to walk alongside young people who have similar struggles. Her experiences of working in India, going through life transitions due to international moves, navigating the joys and challenges of a cross-cultural marriage, experiencing the adventure of parenting a teen and a pre-teen are a few of the unique experiences that enable her to be a compassionate helper.
Jennifer is a graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary where she received a M.A. in Counseling in 2005. Over the last 2 decades, Jennifer has worked with children, teens and young adults in various settings such as schools, women’s shelters and churches.
